William Ricketts Sanctuary, Mount Dandenong

One of our favourite and most tranquil experiences on our mountain and just a 15 minute drive from Babaji’s.

A sculptor, William spent many years with Indigenous Australians in central Australia. On his return he created a sculpture sanctuary deep in the rainforest, a place to go to reflect quietly on our connection and impact on nature and place.  Less well known is that William also spent several years in Puducherry in Southern India. As you explore the sculptures of children and native animals carved into the rocks and tree trunks, you will sense the spiritual influence of Indigenous Australia & India.

National Park – no dogs allowed
