Thurs June 12th is Community Day at Babajis Belgrave for the Belgrave Lantern Parade. Our cherished community Winter Solstice event (held on the 21st June) turns 18 yrs old this year! Each year the Belgrave Traders worry that this year 'might just be its last', with rising costs (insurances and road closures), limited funding and the challenge of finding volunteers.

This year the Traders have truly united to make sure that the 2025 Lantern Parade continues! From town pizza nights (thanks to Little Hendrix Cafe for organising), to selling Lantern Fest merch - Every dollar raised counts! Every dollar raised sees the Lantern Parade run another year!

We'll be doing our bit to pitch in - on June 12th - 10% of ALL Babajis sales, take away, dine in & even gift card sales, will be donated to the Lantern Parade.
