Winter Sundays at Babaji's Warburton – Live Pollichathu & Cosy Yarra Valley Dining!

Looking for a cosy Sunday lunch in the Yarra Valley this winter? Babaji’s Kerala Kitchen Warburton is bringing the warmth of Kerala to the mountains with our live Pollichathu Sundays.

A Winter Lunch Experience in the Yarra Valley

Think misty mountains, crackling open fires, rasam gently simmering, South Indian spiced wine bubbling away, and banana leaf parcels steaming fresh from our live cooking station. Winter in Warburton feels a little like Kerala's hill country — Australia’s own Munnar.

Live Kerala Pollichathu – Fresh Banana Leaf Parcels Cooked to Order

Choose from three authentic Kerala-style Pollichathu parcels, wrapped in banana leaf and cooked fresh:

🐟 Whole Pomfret
🐟 Catch of the Day
🦐 Fresh Prawns

Each parcel is cooked with fresh shallots, red onion, ginger, garlic, chilli and tamarind for that beautiful balance of spice and tang.

Perfect alongside our Sunday Sadya, homestyle Kappa, or as part of a leisurely winter lunch by the fire.
