KERALA FISH CART , കള്ളും മീനും
EVERY SUNDAY AT BABAJIS WARBURTON

Join us for an afternoon in the tropics at 'Kallum Meenum', our new Kerala pop up seafood cart — with a live fish fry grill, every Sunday lunch this summer.

Just like exploring the fish carts of  our hometown Varkala Cliff, Kerala, South India - Wander up , choose your catch of the day from the fish cart, (sourced the same morning from the market, the freshest fish we can find) .

Pick your marinade — kanthari, tamarind-zesty, coconut-lime ... then watch as it hits the live grill station.

Pair your fish with a mun-kudam with a house steeped fiery 'kanthari kallu' — fiery and bold fermented coconut palm wine.

It's as South India as it gets — by the Yarra River.

First in, best fed. Fish cart limited - when it's gone - it's gone.

Sundays in summer (Dec -Feb), from 1pm.

Bookings strongly recommended.
