Puffing Billy is one of the finest preserved steam railways in the world and operates every day of the year, except Christmas Day, thanks to the tireless efforts of their volunteers.The excitement begins from the moment you arrive at the station with the sight of the historic locomotives, the smell of the steam and the sound of the train’s whistle.

    Just a five minute drive away from Babajis is the infamous 1000 steps.
    Winding through the rainforest, expect a workout as you reflect on just how tough life was for those soldiers who served in World War 2, both Indian and Aussie.
    You know where to come for a cold mango lassi after!

    One of our favourite and most tranquil experiences on our mountain and just a 15 minute drive from Babaji’s.

    A sculptor, William spent many years with Indigenous Australians in central Australia. On his return he created a sculpture sanctuary deep in the rainforest, a place to go to reflect quietly on our connection and impact on nature and place.  Less well known is that William also spent several years in Puducherry in Southern India.

    We’re lucky to call Belgrave home. Known for it’s creativity, Belgrave is Australia’s first Augmented Reality (AR) town!
